| Troma DVD All The Love You Cannes Since 1939, filmmakers and film lovers from the world over have flocked to the Cannes Film Festival to promote and worship cinema. The mainstream media only shows the glamour, the Hollywood stars and the international glitterati, but the Cannes Film Festival is for everyone. For nearly 30 years, Lloyd Kaufman and the Troma Team have made their annual pilgramage to this center of cinematic culture on a very low budget. What is supposed to be a simple straightforward educational exercise proved to be quite something else. Watch the Troma Team take on the elitist media conglomerates as the employees get punched out one night, then meet with big-time movie executives in suits the next day. It's everything you wanted to know about film promotion with an abundance of topless women, fornication and fisticuffs! This is a documentary of Troma's visit to the Cannes Film Festival to promote themselves. Mostly they create all sorts of chaos in the streets, especially a guy named Doug dressed as Kabukiman. Kabukiman gets in fights with French civilians and Carlton Hotel staff where Troma is staying. He also causes Lloyd to have to dispute some $2000.00 and $3000.00 hotel bills for blood spray on the outside sidewalk. Troma staff has a hard time with security while trying to attend some events, even their own! Troma sells rights to different countries and also throws a party. They also fight with Warner Brothers located across the hall in the hotel especially about a wondering dog a WB employee brought (complete with event passes). A documentary of the true chaos that Troma unleashes to promote themselves at the Cannes Film Festival.
